Experienced players know several ways of cheating and they keep themselves updated about the latest trends and modes of cheating. In marked cards, the cards are altered illegally so that the values are visible from the back. It involves designing on back of the card, scratching, making a visible mark etc. These marks are unnoticeable as they are made by players themselves. High value cards are marked first in order to identify them easily. Professional cheaters excel the art of playing marked cards. Poker games players widely use marked cards. How Cheaters Use The Marked Cards?
Players employ various methods to make marked cards. One of these methods is “Shading” in which some portions of cards are shaded and data is marked to notify its value. Such cards are visible through a filter attached to cheater’s spectacles.
Another method is “Nicking”. In this, the player cuts a small portion of the card or marks it by nail. Cheaters use nicking skillfully on the same card several times. “Daubing” is also another common method in which ink and a substance called dauber is used to mark the card. It also requires use of special glasses. In the method of “Corner Crimping”, the cheater takes out the desired card and then slides the card by making a mark on it.
A cheater has to be wise and intelligent enough to use the marked cards. He has to employ the cheating tricks skillfully so that he can cheat without being caught.
Another Kind of Fun with Playing Cards
If you want to have fun with playing cards without getting cheated then try to build a house of playing cards. In this, two cards are placed facing each other on the short end of the card. Then a card is placed on either side of the two cards. It is simply moving out and moving up! But, a little blow of wind can easily shake the arrangement. So, be careful and light handed while doing this.
